How To Use Lemon Juice For Acne - Clear Up Acne With Lemon Juice

You wouldn't actually think that lemon juice of all things would be able to clear up acne, but in fact -- lemon juice can! In fact, Lemon juice contains one of the AHAs (Alpha Hydroxy Acids) that is also known as citric acid. So how does that mean? It means that lemon juice work quickly on your skin by sloughing off dead skin cells, helping skin elasticity, and enabling new skin cell growth from underneath. Not only can lemon juice do all that for your skin, but it can also flush out pores, helping your skin stay light and glowing.

What will you need?
The answer is simple, ONE LEMON. You will need to juice the lemon with a traditional lemon juicer, or you can use a blender if you don't have anything else. Make sure that you peel the skin if using a blender.

You wil use the lemon juice as you would a normal topical acne treatment. Below are the steps you need to take to start using lemon juice to clear up your acne in a flash.

Clean your skin. When I say clean, I mean no make up and no extra moisturizer. Just your naturally clean skin.

Take your bowl of lemon juice and dip a cotton ball in to the juice. Dab a bit on your face, and see if it burns. If so, you may want to add a bit of water, just a teaspoon or so. It may burn a bit depending on the skin type.

Once you get the right mixture of lemon juice to ensure that you won't sting your skin, apply the lemon juice to your face.
Pay close attention to apply the lemon juice to acne prone spots such as the nose, temple and forehead, cheeks and chin area.

Leave this mixture on overnight and rinse with warm water in the morning.
This may not be an overnight treatment. Some people see results within the first use while many don't see the results until a week later. Apply once a night to help fight and get rid of acne on your skin.
