Make Your Own Coffee Body Scrub at Home

Homemade spa treatments are the best and most effective way to save money and treat yourself to a nice spa treatment at the same time. All too many times, people spend tons of money for expensive spa treatments, facials, and other pampering effects that they can actually do at home, with less money, and get better results. Here is how you can make a coffee body scrub, at home, by yourself, and not spend a fortune on an unique pampering experience.

Things you will need:

  •     2 cups of coarsely ground coffee
  •     1/2 cup raw sugar or sea salt
  •     2-3 T massage oil

How To Make Your Own Coffee Body Scrub

  1. Go to the store and search for coarsely ground coffee, if you can't find it, buy regular coffee and use a food processor to ground it up coarsely. You will also need to find raw sugar or sea salt. Either one works fine, it's basically to exfoliate your skin. If my opinion, sugar works better, because salt can dry out your skin. You will also need to buy a form of massage oil. Any type works, but you can pick the scent of your choice.
  2. Blend all the ingredients together. Stir them up and store them in a jar or can. You can store the mixture in the refrigerator for a longer shelf life. The ingredients can't really expire, but it helps the mixture stay fresher.
  3. Wait until you have the right amount of time to take a long hot shower. Wash off thoroughly to make sure the skin is clean. Also, the longer you take a shower, the more your skin pores open up.
  4. Use about a palm full of the mixture and start rubbing from the legs up and work your way to the top. Scrub in soft circular motion as you go. This helps stimulate the skin and the pores in your skin.
  5. After you rub the scrub mixture over your skin, rinse off. Towel dry off, and apply your choice of lotion to the entire body. Your skin will feel very refreshed and you will instantly feel the difference in your skin texture.

How To Make Homemade Vitamin E Cream

Okay, so this is probably one of my *favorite* homemade beauty products that you can remake. Homemade Vitamin E Cream can be used for essentially any part of your body or just used as a moisturizer for your face at night. Vitamin E has SO many powerful enzymes for your skin. Actually, Vitamin E is the best vitamin for your skin. It helps heal scars, regrows skin collagen and skin cells and it actually helps form new skin cells to replace old ones. This keeps you looking healthy, younger and glowing all of the time.

What you will need:
  • 2 teaspoons plain yogurt
  • 1/2 teaspoons honey
  • 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
  • 3 capsules vitamin E  (equivalent of 300 units)

This homemade Vitamin E Cream is so easy to make. You really don't need a lot of money or a lot of ingredients. All you need is yogurt, honey, lemon juice and of course -- Vitamin E. I recommend that anyone that wants to take care of their skin buy Vitamin E capsules and take them daily either way. However, if you really want to amp up your skin and make it glow everyday, you should try out this Vitamin E Cream.

It really doesn't matter what skin type you have or even if you just want a new homemade lotion - this is a powerful homemade beauty product that you will just love once you try it.
Many women use this to help rid and prevent stretch marks and scars. Vitamin E has a powerful enzyme to help heal skin regenerate skin cells. This means that scars won't be as noticed. Vitamin E also helps regenerate skin cells faster, helping any cracked, dry or sore skin to heal much faster.

All you need to do for this essential homemade beauty product is combines all the needed ingredients listed above into a bowl. Add your Vitamin E Capsules by hand into the mixture. (It's best to poke the capsules with a pin and squeeze the oil into the mixture.)

Stir well for 5 minutes and let the Vitamin E cream stand.
Give time to let the mixture absorb all the ingredients well first. After that, all you need to do is massage the lotion onto your skin. Let it sit on your skin for a good 20 minutes and rinse off well.

The shelf life of the homemade beauty product is about 3 to 4 days. Thanks to my buddies over at Spa Index for this homemade beauty recipe. :)
